Mrs. Tollef Thompson Buried This Afternoon

Special to the Journal:
Story City, Jan. 7 -- Funeral service will be held in Roland Saturday afternoon, Jan. 7, for Mrs. Tollef Thompson, age 83, who died Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock at the Old People's Home here where she had been a member for a year and a half. The service will be held at 2 o'clock in Bergen Lutheran church, Rev. M. O. Sumstead officiating. Interment will be in the Roland cemetery. Born in Norway, Dec. 23, 1855. She immigrated to America with her mother, Mrs. Helga Sandvick and brothers and sisters in 1888 coming to Roland where she lived for a while. She also lived in Nevada for a short time later moving to Marshalltown. She is survive by one brother, Rasmus Sandvick of McCallsburg.
