Last Rites for Roy Day Held at Flaxville, Mont.

Story county relatives returned the last of the week from Flaxville, Montana where they had been called by the sudden death of Roy Day, 58, native son of Story county, who had passed away suddenly on Oct. 15 from a heart attack.

Funeral services were held in Flaxville on Oct. 20. The pall bearers were friends of the deceased. Committal was in the Flaxville cemetery by the side of a child of Mr. and Mrs. Day who passed away several years ago.

Roy Day, eldest son of Will and Sabina Day, was born in Fernald, Oct. 3, 1889. He attended school in Ames and in Oklahoma. He was married to Hazel White of Colo and to this union seven children were born.

Surviving, besides the wife are the children:
Charles Day of Butte, Mont., Harold of Flaxville, Winona Browning of Anchorage, Alaska, Lucille Hicks of Flaxville, Lester Day of Flaxville and Pauline Day at home. He also leaves nine grandchildren, his mother, Mrs. Sabina Day of Nevada and his brother, Jim Day of Nevada.

Relatives from a distance in attendance at the last rites were Mrs. Sabina Day, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Day, Mrs. Maurice Wycoff, Mrs. Ida Robertson, Jimmie Day, and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Handsaker of Nevada; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Handsaker of Colo. Friends from a distance present were Oscar Hanson, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Galloway of Great Falls, Mont.
