Mrs. Sharkey Dead; Long Time Invalid

Colo, Sept. 2--Pending word from the son Frank in Long Beach, Cal., the time for the funeral services for Mrs. Edmund Sharkey, 71, who died at her home here Monday evening, is undetermined.

Diabetes was the cause of the death of Mrs. Sharkey who had been an invalid for years and totally blind for the past two years.

The maiden name of the deceased was Benilda McGinnis, born in Shannon, Illinois, January 23, 1860. It was there that she was married to Edmund Sharkey in 1892 and a year later they moved to Missouri, where they remained for two years and in 1895 came to Colo, which had since been the family home.

She leaves besides her husband, two children, they being Frank Sharkey of Long Beach, Calif., and Harold Sharkey at home.
