FINAL RITES FOR ACCIDENT VICTIM

FRITZ LAD LAID TO REST IN PALESTINE CEMETERY NEAR CAMBRIDGE

Slater, March 12--Funeral services for Russell E. Fritz, age 13, of Curlew, killed in an auto accident near here Saturday night, were held Tuesday afternoon. Services were held Tuesday afternoon. Services were held at the Oscar Fritz home at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. P. Buland. Services at the Bethlehem church at 2:30 o'clock, in charge of Rev. E. R. Rorem, assisted by Rev. Wessenhour of Curlew. Many beautiful floral offerings covered the casket. The pall bearers were Harold Hedlund, Joseph Rorem, Rudolph Anderson, Stanley Lundy, Charles Sargent and Donald Peterson. A solo, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," was sung by Miss Margaret Fritz. Two duets "Sometime We'll Understand," "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" were sung by Mrs. M. S. Heggen and Mrs. A. L. Peterson.

Russell E. Fritz was born August 27, 1917 at Des Moines and died March 7, 1931 at the age of 13 years, 5 months and 10 days. He was the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Fritz of Curlew. He leaves to mourn his death his parents, one brother, Orville age 11, two sisters Olive age 12 and Janice age 8, besides a large number of relatives and friends. Burial was made at the Palestine cemetery near Cambridge.
