OBITUARY

June 6, 1969

JESSIE HALE IS DEAD AT 89

Mrs. Jessie Hale, 89, a resident of Collins, died in the Dallas County Hospital at Perry about 8;15 Wednesday night.

Mrs. Hale suffered a heart attack shortly before her death.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Bethel United Methodist Church in Collins. The Rev. Wilton Grant will officiate. Burial will be in the Collins Evergreen Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell until Saturday morning.

Survivors include three sons, Milton of Collins, Aaron of Des Moines and Robert Johnson of Collins; three daughters, Mrs. Florence McDaniel of Des Moines, Mrs. W. L. Mead of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Roy Baker, Perry; by 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; by one sister, Mrs. Erma Thurmond of Albequerque, N.M.; one brother, Donald Mann of Pomeroy, IA.
