MRS. J.W. WAMPLER DIED LATE YESTERDAY

COLO WOMAN AHS BEEN INVALID FOR 40 YEARS; LEAVES 3 SONS

Colo, July 1--Mrs. J. W. Wampler, 74, died at the home of her son Roy Wampler in Colo, Friday night at 8:15, after being bedfast for five weeks, following an invalidism of 40 years during which time she had suffered from inflamatory rheumatism.

Funeral arrangements are undetermined pending word from the son Henry at Jacksonville, Fla., but will probably be held Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Wampler whose maiden name was Hannah Barnes, was a native of Kansas, in which state she was born 74 years ago on November 3 last.

She was married to J. W. Wampler in 1879 at Sedgwick, Kansas, and nine children were born to them. The husband, three sons and three daughters preceded her in death and she leaves three sons, Orville of Bayard, Iowa, Henry of Jacksonville, Fla., and Roy of Colo, at whose home she died. She also leaves six grand children and one great grandchild.

The family came to Story county many years ago and had lived in Colo since February 1902.
