Frozen Body of Marshalltown Boy Found Near Ames

Ames, March 2--INS--The frozen body of Glen Ness, 14, of Marshalltown, was found in a ditch along the Northwestern railroad right-of-way about one-half mile east of here early today.

The boy, the son of G. C. Ness of Marshalltown, had apparently been dead several days as evidence indicated that the boy had laid for several days prior to the snow storm last week.

Authorities here believe that the boy may have fallen from a freight train.

The boy disappeared from his home in Marshalltown a week ago. An inquest was expected to be held by Dr. Mills, Story county coroner.
