Christopherson Funeral at Roland Tuesday; Burial at Radcliffe

Special to the Journal.
Roland, Nov. 25--Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Olaf Holen, Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at Salem church for Miss Hannah Christopherson, 69, maiden lady who died here late Friday Miss Christopherson had submitted to a goiter operation at the Iowa Lutheran hospital in Des Moines a few weeks ago, but never recovered.

A native of Norway, Europe, she had been a resident of this community for over 50 years, much of that time in charge of the home of her brother, Ole Christopherson, who died about two years ago.

Of the children of the brother to whom she had been a mother, she leaves Alfred of Story City, Martin of Yakami, Wash., Mrs. O. J. Haney of Independence, Mrs. Cecil Oswood of Hansell and Mrs. M. D. Winters of Glen Ellyn, Ill.

Burial will be in the family lot in the Radcliffe cemetery.
