Services Held At Zearing For Mrs. George N. Meimann

Funeral services for Mrs. George N. Meimann were held in St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Zearing on Wednesday, March 18, at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. Cecil McSweeney officiating at Requiem Mass. Soloist was Mrs. Lester Meimann with Mrs. Lawrence Doser at the organ.

Casketbearers were Albert Dunn, Leo Dunn, Lester Meimann, Vernon Phillips, Ralph Smith and Vincent Smith. Burial was in St. Patricks Cemetery in Nevada. A rosary service was held at Ryan Funeral Home on Tuesday at 8 a.m.

Obituary

Frances Cecelia Tagatoff, daughter of Francis and Anna Tagatoff, was born September 30, 1890 in St. Anthony. She died at her home on March 15, 1964. She was a member of St. Gabriels Catholic Church in Zearing.

On February 14, 1912 she was married to George N. Meimann in St. Anthony. Surviving are her husband, two sons, Carroll of Roland and Audry of Ogden; seven daughters, Mrs. Bernice Post of Alhambra, California; Mrs. Pauline Peterson of Nevada; Miss Elizabeth Meimann of Long Island, New York; Mrs. Don Henderson of Story City, Mrs. Melburn Henderson of Story City, Mrs. Laurence Arneson of Ellsworth and Mrs. Milford Baldus of Story City; 23 grandchildren and five sisters, Miss Lucy Tagatoff, Mrs. H. A. Meimann, Miss Margaret Tagatoff, Mrs. Charles Howard and Mrs. Ena V. Heil.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Bernard who died in 1954 and Marion who died in 1963.
