Mrs. Floyd Chance Died Sunday Night at Zearing Home

Special to the Journal.
Zearing, July 15--INS--Mrs. Floyd Chance, 42, died at her home near Zearing last night at 9:30 after having been brought hoe from the Deaconess hospital at Marshalltown but a few days before. She had submitted to a major surgical operation at the hospital.

Mrs. Chance was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cerka, born on the farm where she died, May 24, 1893.

She was united in marriage to Floyd Chance at Marshalltown March 15, 1916. No children were born to the union.

She leaves her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Will Schuler of near Colo and Mrs. Willie Lyons of St. Anthony, and two brothers, Willie Cerka of Colo and Auguts Cerka of Zearing.

The funeral services will be held from the Evangelical church in Zearing Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 and interment will be in the cemetery at Zearing.
