Funeral Services for World War Veteran

Roland, July 8--Funeral services for John A. Omvig were held Monday afternoon at Salem church following a brief prayer service at the home. Rev. H. E. Jacobson of Williams conducted the services, officiating in the absence of the deceased's pastor, Rev. Olaf Holen. He was assisted by Rev. H. N. Bakke of McCallsburg, who spoke in the Norwegian language. Special music consisted of two duets by Mr. and Mrs. O. S. Boyd and a solo by Mrs. T. A. Sorem.
