PIONEER WOMAN CALLED BY DEATH

MARY QUINN, 54, PASSED AWAY AT HER HOME HERE SUNDAY

Miss Mary Quinn, 54, died at her home at 1407 Eleventh street, Sunday morning at 11:20 and the funeral services will be at St. Patrick's church, Tuesday morning at 10, after which interment will be in St. Patrick's cemetery.

Miss Quinn, a native of Story county, was born on a farm in Richland township, August 2, 1874 and had lived in the county all of her life. She was a daughter of Martin Quinn and Marie Tigue, both of whom are now dead. They were pioneers of the county.

To them five sons and two daughters were born but Mrs. Kate Quinn-Fitzpatrick of Chicago is now the sole survivor. The brothers, all dead, are Thomas, Martin, James, John and Frank.

Mrs. Fitzpatrick has been here from Chicago since her sister was taken ill some days ago. Her tow daughters, Mrs. Gallaghan [should be Galligan] and Mrs. Donavan are expected out from the city to attend the services, also.

A sister-in-law, Mrs. Bowen DeWitt of Marshalltown, with her sons Will and Anthony Quinn, sons of Frank Quinn, will also be here for the funeral.
