THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, June 22, 2005.

Wahnita Lehman, 72, of Nevada, died May 14, surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in Slater. There is a picnic for everyone after the service at the Log Cabin in Slater.

Wahnita Lehman was born April 27, 1933, daughter of Walter and Selda Williams of Huxley. She touched the lives of many people.

She is survived by one daughter, Rene Ramsey; one son, Randy Obrecht; four brothers; four sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother; an infant sister; and one brother, Herschel Williams.
