Skinner Funeral Services Thursday

Collins, June 7--INS--Funeral services for Charles H. Skinner, 52, who died at his home at the Ashton chapel, south of here Thursday morning at 11:00, after which the body was laid to rest in the Ashton cemetery. Rev. C. E. Lookingbill of Nevada was in charge.

Chas. Herbert Skinner passed away at his home near Mingo Tuesday morning at the age of 52 years, 1 month, 2 days. His death was sudden, although he had been in failing health for sometime.

Charles was born near Mingo, Ia. May 2, 1883, a son of Herbert K. and Mary A. Skinner. He lived all his life in this vicinity.

He was united in marriage to Clara B. Borts Jan. 1, 1903. To this union seven children were born, namely Eva Dodd of Colo, Bernice Tribby of Nevada, John of Wala Falla, Washington, Coral Atkins of Collins, Lyle and Charles, Jr., at home. An infant son preceding him in death. Besides his wife and children he leaves to mourn his loss six grandchildren, Zola, Jean and Donald Dodd, Earl, Betty and Bonnie Tribby. Also two brothers, Walter of Maxwell, Arthur of Nevada, three sisters, Bertha Borts of Collins, Clara Tiffany of Collins, Lena Eubanks of Nevada, and a host of other relatives and friends.
