Well Known Retired Farmer Died at Home in Gilbert

Special to the Journal.
Gilbert, April 22--H. C. T. Peterson, 69, retired farmer and well known resident of this community died at his home here earl today and the funeral will be held on Wednesday. There will services at the home at 1:30 and funeral at the Gilbert Lutheran church at 2:00, with his pastor, Rev. T. T. Heimarck in charge. Burial will be in the Lutheran cemetery north of Gilbert.

Hans Christian Theodore Peterson, was born in Denmark, Europe, November 25, 1869 and departed this life at his home in Gilbert, April 22, 1935.

He had been a resident of this community for many years, living on a farm between here and Ames. Later he retired and moved into Gilbert, where the family home has since been.

He leaves his wife and five children. The children are Mrs. Andrew Holmes, Mrs. H. P. Hanson and Henry and Sophus Peterson, all of this community, an Andrew Peterson who has been away for some time.
