NEVADA EVENING JOUNAL, May 9, 1951. "SERVICES TODAY FOR ELIZABETH WARFIELD - Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Warfield, 83, native daughter of Story county, were held this afternoon at the Iowa Center church with Rev. C. E. Lookingbill officiating. Burial was the Iowa Center cemetery. Mrs. Warfield is survived by one son, Clinton of Maxwell, three grandchildren, Mrs. Frank Hill and Mrs. Russell Sparks of Maxwell and Bob Warfield of Des Moines. She also leaves three great grandchildren. Ole Huiderson, who had made his home with the Warfield family for 43 years, also survives her."
