J. WILBUR TIGHT DEAD AT ZEARING

PASSED AWAY AT HOME OF DAUGHTER AT ALDEN, LAST NIGHT

Zearing, Dec. 27--J. Wilbur Tight, local business man, died on Wednesday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Dennie Jeffries at Alden, where he had been seriously ill for about two weeks.

Burial will be at the Illinois Grove cemetery under the auspices of the local Masonic lodge, following funeral services to be held on Friday afternoon at 2:00 at the Zearing Church of Christ.

He leaves besides his wife and one daughter, his aged mother, now past 90 years of age, one daughter had died in infancy.

J. Wilbur Tight was a native of Liberty township, Hardin county, where he was born July 2, 1872, a son of one of the pioneer families, his grandparents having located there in an early day.

He had been a resident of Zearing for some time and recently had been engaged in the produce and service station business.

He was a long time member of the Masonic lodge and had been an active and prominent citizen of the community in which he had cast his lot.
