Music was furnished by a quartet composed of Mrs. L. M. hall, Mrs. L. D. Holland, Milton Hale and Bradford Stevens, who sang "The Old Rugged Cross," "Does Jesus Care" and "Near the Cross." Mrs. Bradford Stevens was the pianist. The flowers were arranged and cared for by Mrs. E. F. Day and Mrs. Dan Wear. Pallbearers were W. A. Kitchel, Curt Campbell, Ed Stratton, Clark Chambers, Chas. Waltz and Byron Keagle. Interment was in Collins Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. Westcott, who passed away at 10:30 last Friday night, had been bedfast since the preceding Sunday night. Immediate cause of death was given as bronchial pneumonia together with complications due to his advanced age.

Chas. Jasper Westcott, son of Cyrus and Sarah Westcott, was born March 5th, 1858, in the state of New York, and there grew to manhood. Coming west, he settled in Jewel county, Neb., where he married Nancy Graves on January 1sst, 1886. To this union four children were born: Josiah W. Westcott of Maxwell; Mrs. Minnie Grace Kassel of Rhodes, and Mrs. Lillie Kassel of Potter. Mrs. Westcott preceded him in death November 27th, 1934.

In the year 1892 Mr. Westcott moved with his family to the state of Kansas and from there moved to Jenning, Louisiana, where they lived for 14 years. They then moved back to Dunbar, Neb., living there three years, from there moving to Collins in 1906, making this his home the remainder of his life. He passed away here on June 4, 1943, at the age of 85 years, 2 months and 29 days.

He leaves to mourn his loss his children and one brother W. W. Westcott of Collins, besides his grandchildren and great grand children. Also a host of friends. He was a member of the U. B. church, having joined at Dunbar, Neb., in 1906, and lived in that faith until his death. He will be missed by all who were privileged to know him.
