Former Story City Woman Died at Home In Minnesota

Special to the Journal.
Story City, Oct. 30--Mrs. Walter Henderson, 41, died at her home at Marshall, Minn., Monday afternoon at 3:00, according to word received by local relatives.

The body will be brought to Story City after funeral services Wednesday afternoon at Marshall. It will lie in state at the home of her sister, Mrs. Melbourne Donhowe Thursday from 10 a. m. until noon and there will be private funeral service held there at 1:30, after which the body will be laid to rest in the Fairview cemetery here.

Born in Story City her maiden name was Ida Marvick. She attended the public schools and graduated with the class of 1910 and was married to Walter Henderson October 9, 1917.

The family home continued in or near Story city until about ten years ago when they moved to Minnesota and settled near Marshal.

She leaves besides her husband, five children and four sisters. The children are John, Pauline, Eleanor, McDonald and Carolyn. The sisters are Mrs. Ed Roe of Stanley, Wis., and Mrs. Peter Donhowe, Mrs. Melbourne Donhowe and Mrs. Alfred Jacobson, all of Story City.
