STORY CITY WOMAN DIED LATE SUNDAY
MRS. MICHAS HENDERSON VICTIM OF HEART FAILURE YESTERDAY
Story City, March 12--Funeral services will be held at St. Petri Lutheran church, Story City, Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 for Mrs. Michas Henderson, 65, who died at her home there Sunday afternoon at 4:30. Heart trouble was the cause of death, she having been a sufferer for a few weeks.
Mrs. Henderson, who before her marriage was Mattie Rasmussen was born northeast of Roland, on March 27, 1869, a daughter of one of the pioneer families.
She was married to Michas Henderson, son of a pioneer family of north of Story City in Hamilton county, September 17, 1891.
The family had always lived at Story City with the exception of a few years spent at Jewell.
She leaves besides her husband, three daughters and three sons.
They are Mrs. Cosette Marvick of Cleveland, O., Rexford Henderson of Washington, D. C., Malcomb Henderson of Ann Arbor, Mich., Herbert Henderson of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Florence Stotts of Rochester, N. Y., and Sara Henderson, a senior student at Grinnell college.
She also leaves one sister, Mrs. J. R. Grindhem of Roland and five brothers, B. M. of Story City, Severt, Johh, Andrew and Rasmus of Roland and Henry of Minnesota.
