Funeral Services Held for Arley Charles Alder

Funeral services were held for Arley Charles Alder at the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell October 28, 1955 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. C. E. Lookingbill officiating. Music for the services was furnished by Alice Gooden and Madeline Summitt. Flowers were cared for by Margaret Henning and Josephine Powers. Interment was in the Peoria Cemetery. Casket bearers were Keith Meyers, Marion Patterson, Jack Gardner, Wayne Sargent, Byron Carver and Frank Mishler.

Obituary

Arley Charles Alder was born to Charles and Minnie Alder on April 30, 1892 at Maxwell and departed this life October 25, 1955 at the age of 63 years, 5 months and 25 days. He was married to Flossie Mills and to this union was born one son Doyle. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two sisters, Ada Wittick and Lois Solbrack. He leaves to survive him his son, Doyle of Council Bluffs, three grandchildren, Peggy Jane, Kathy Jean and Donna Lou. A host of nephews, nieces and friends also survive him.
