Former Nevada Resident Dies In Maryland

Word has been received by Mrs. P. E. Posegate of Story City of the death of her sister, Mrs. Howard Kirkendall, the former Grace Sutherland, which occurred Nov. 23. Funeral services were held Nov. 27, at Harve de Grace, Maryland.

Interment was in the Memorial Garden, Bel Air, Md.

Born Jan. 16, 1876 in Nevada, she was the daughter of Dave and Ann Sutherland.

Surviving are two sons, Ray and Guy, several grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Smith of Cedar Falls and Mrs. Lulu Posegate of Story City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, by one sister, Mrs. Ida Bump, and four brothers, Bruce, Charles, Jay and Frank Sutherland.

The deceased was an aunt of Mrs. Howard Mills of Nevada.
