Miss Lucy Alderman died at her home in Iowa Center Tuesday morning, February 21. She had been an invalid for many years and for the last four or five years had been sitting in a chair, being unable to lie down because of a severe case of dropsy. Her suffering has been intense and death comes as a relief, although it is a shock to those who are left to mourn.--Maxwell Tribune.
