Last Rites Held In Nevada For Marshall E. Boynton

Funeral services were held in Santa Monica, Calif., Dec. 13 and in Nevada, Iowa, Dec. 17 for Marshall Elmer Boynton, 80, who had been born in Nevada of Quincey and Sarah Boynton, Sept. 8, 1871 and passed away in Santa Monica, Calif., at the home of his niece Linda Salnave, on Dec. 10, 1951.

Services in Nevada were conducted at the Ryan Funeral home with the Rev. James D. Ransom of Central Presbyterian church, officiating.

Interment was in the Nevada cemetery by the side of his parents.

Casket bearers were Lou Borgen, Francis Tarman, Jay Banks, Arthur Banks, Oscar Hall and Milo Hall.

Mr. Boynton had spent his childhood and young manhood in Nevada, his parents bein among the early day residents of Nevada. He was farming near Nevada before going to Chicago, where he lived until two years ago when he went to Santa Monica to make his home with Mrs. Salnave.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, George in Minnesota and W. H. Boynton, life-long well known resident of Nevada.

He is survived by two brothers, Frank and Stephen Boynton, both of Michigan, and by nieces and nephews.
