At an early age he joined the Church of Christ and remained a true and loyal member as long as his health permitted.

His greatest ambition was farming and he will be remembered for his generous neighborly spirit, his fine horses, and his friendly visits with those who called in the home or met him on the street.

His health failed and they moved to Collins in January of 1947 and lived there until his passing last Thursday, Dec. 10.
