Funeral Services To Be Held Thurs. For Lillian Prescott, 61

Mrs. Lillian Prescott, 61, 615 Third St., Nevada died at the Story County Hospital at 9:27 p.m. Monday. She had been ill for the past six months and hospitalized for three weeks.

The daughter of Lewis and Bertha Rasmusson, she was born September 19, 1904 in Story County. She was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, Roger of Des Moines an Daniel of Iowa City one daughter, Mrs. Bill Evans of Carroll; five grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond Rasmusson of Indianola, Jeffrey Rasmusson of Nevada and Donald Rasmusson of Roland; five sisters, Mrs. William Hansen of Nevada, Mrs. Clarence Sampson of Nevada, Mrs. Carl Bennett of Des Moines, Mrs. William Vasey of Nevada and Mrs. Curtis Jacobson of Roland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and her husband John, who died in 1959.

Funeral services will be at the Memorial Lutheran Church Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Marvin Suhr of Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Roland Cemetery.

The body will remain at the Ryan Funeral Home until noon Thursday when it will be taken to the Church to await funeral services.

A memorial fund will be established.
