DONALD CHANCE

Donald Chance, 68, a former Zearing resident, died Wednesday, Aug. 29 in a Des Moines hospital of a heart attack.

Services were held Saturday, Sept. 1 in the Hamilton Funeral Home in Des Moines with burial in the Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines.

The deceased was born March 10, 1905 on a farm near Zearing to Mr. and Mrs. Ed Chance. Surviving are his wife, Vivian, seven sons, Michael, Edward, Russell, John Donald, Robert an William; two daughters, Donna Hoppel, and Lauri Chance at home, 11 grandchildren, and three brothers, Eldon of Zearing, Howard of Nevada, and Marion of Ames. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Emmett.
