DEATH

LINDA EDWARDS

Funeral services for Linda Edwards, 13, of Slater were held at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Slater at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 1973. The Rev. John Ness was the officiating minister. The hymns, "What a Friend We have in Jesus" and "Children of the Heavenly Father" were sung by the congregation. Mrs. Alvin Lund was the organist.

Pallbearers were Scott Hillebo, Marc Harper, Dean Edwards, Eric Nagel, John Nagel and Kenneth Okland.

Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery at Slater.

Linda Louise was born in Boone on April 15, 1960 and died Thursday, August 9, as the result of an epileptic seizure while at the swimming pool. Linda lived in the Slater area most of her life, attending the Slater elementary school six years and the Ballard Junior High one year.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Normand Edwards, two sisters, Jeanette and Carla; two brothers, Marvin and Danny; grandparents, Mrs. Yvonne Edwards of Woodbine and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hillebo of rural Madrid and many other relatives and friends.
