Area Deaths

JOHN L. TEMPLE

John L. Temple, 62, of route 3, Ames, passed away at Mary Greeley Hospital Wednesday, August 15.

He was born August 11, 1911 in Ames and married Ruby Keltner in Gilbert in 1939. At one time he had his own trucking business and had most recently worked for the C & M Excavating Company.

Services will be Friday, August 17 from Steven's Memorial Chapel in Ames with Rev. O. M. Severseike of Bethesda Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Ruby, four sons, Jerry, of Ames, Roger of Boone, David of Ames, Mike at home; three daughters, Mrs. Steve Harriman of Fall River, Mass., Mrs. Linda Sills of Ames and Nancy Temple of Ames.

The body will lie in state Thursday and until time of services Friday.
