Martha Jacobson dies Saturday at Story City

Mrs. Martha T. Jacobson of Story City died Saturday morning about 5:30 in the Story City Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 24, 1890 at Crocker, Iowa, to Jacob and Sarah Teig. She married Albert E. Jacobson February 4, 1910 and he died Dec. 10, 1949. She spent most of her life in the Story City and Rosendale area.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City. Rev. C. A. Gisselquist will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery northwest of Story City. The body will lie in state at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home.

She is survive by three sons Olee and Jasper both of Mason City and Arthur of Story City, one daughter, Sadie (Mrs. Mervin Boyd) of Albert Lee, Minn.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
