Oxley Funeral Service Tuesday

Funeral services for little Owen Oxley, Jr., three-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Oxley who died at Iowa Sanitarium Saturday were held Tuesday afternoon at the Bishop Funeral home.

Rev. C. E. Lookingbill conducted the service, while the songs were by Mrs. C. V. Pence with Mrs. T. B. Warren at the piano. Interment was in the Nevada cemetery.

Owen Oxley, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Oxley, was born at Fernald, Iowa, June 16, 1934 and passed away from intestinal flu at the Iowa sanitarium, Oct. 23 at the age of three years, four months and seven days.

He leaves to mourn his departure his parents, two brothers, Howard and Donald, four sisters, Kathryn, Wanda, Joan and Maxine, two grandfathers, Ray Tillotson of Kellerton, Iowa, and Lem Oxley of Nevada, besides a number of aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of friends.
