Rasmus Nelson Dies At McCallsburg On Wednesday Morning

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada for Rasmus A. Nelson, RFD, McCallsburg man who died at his home this morning (Wednesday) from a heart attack. He was 78 years of age.

Nelson was born October 29, 1888 on the farm where he lived his entire life with the exception of 15 years during which time he lived in Nevada. He was the son of Segar and Christine Nelson.

Nelson was united in marriage Florence S. Tudor on August 16, 1911 in Nevada. He was a member of the Johnson's Grove M. E. Church.

Survivors are his wife Florence, two daughters, Mrs. Osmund (Maxine) Male of Hubbard and Mrs. Glenn (Eva) Kenney of Nevada, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
