Laura Thompson, 91, Dies at Nursing Home Thurs. Morning

Mrs. Laura J. Thompson, 81, died early this morning at the Shady Lawn Nursing home.

Mrs. Thompson was born August 17, 1875 in Boone County, the daughter of Jasper and Cornelia Kirkendall. She had resided in Nevada for the past 5 years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors are three sons, Jasper Thompson of Boone; Ode Thompson of Nevada and Orson Thompson of Wheeling, Illinois; one daughter, Mrs. Albert (Esther) Price of Nevada; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. One brother, Henry Kirkendall of Ogden also survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters, a son, a daughter and her husband who died in 1956.

Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Leslie Howard officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery at Ogden.
