THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, February 28, 1935, page 4, column 2. "Ed Ray, 74, died at the home of his daughter in Newton Monday. The funeral was held at Colfax Wednesday with burial in McKeevor cemetery."
