DEATHS

MRS. ANDY ANDERSON

Mrs. Andy Anderson of Minneapolis, Minn. (nee Josie Jacobson) died suddenly in a Minneapolis, Minn. hospital Thursday, Sept. 22 where she had undergone surgery.

She was born at Roland, Iowa on March 20, 1888, the daughter of Jacob and Randie Jacobson. The Jacobson family lived in Story City for a number of years. After the death of her parents here, Josie went to Minneapolis where she married Andy Anderson. The couple had one child, Betty.

Survivors include her husband, Andy and daughter, Betty (Mrs. Bill Johnson) and three grandchildren, all of Minneapolis.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 26 from the Morris Nilsen Chapel in Minneapolis. Soloist was Orville J. Olson of Story City. Burial was in Lakewood Cemetery at Minneapolis.

Among Story City relatives who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Orville Olson, Omer Olson, Miss Hattie Olson, Mrs. Ruby Tressler, Mrs. Bertina Frette, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Frette, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Frette, Mrs. William H. Larson and Mrs. John B. Johnson.
