DEATHS

Cleo Cooper, 54, of Ottumwa, formerly of Ames, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon July 27 at his home in Ottumwa.

He had been in ill health for the past 1 1/2 years.

He was married to the former Joyce Saveraid of Huxley.

Funeral services were held on Saturday morning at Ottumwa with committal services on Saturday afternoon at the Ames Municipal Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; four daughters, Mrs. Nancy Schrieber of Cedar Falls, Mrs. Caroline Lyon of Painted Post, N. Y., Joyce Ann and Donna and one son, David at home, two grandchildren, four brothers and five sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Cooper of Boone.

Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Saveraid of Ames, Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Sheldahl, Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Saveraid of Husley and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Freed of Iowa City attended the funeral of Cleo Cooper in Ottumwa on Saturday morning.
