Leonard Coleman, 67, Dies at His Home in Nevada Early Today

Leonard C. Coleman, 325 I Ave., Nevada, died at his home from emphysema. He was 67 years of age.

Coleman was born at Colo September 13, 1898, the son of James and Mary Coleman and had resided in Story County his entire life where he worked as a gasoline tank truck operator.

He was married February 21, 1947 to Hazel Appelgate. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors are his wife Hazel, two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Corbin and Mrs. Duane Stansbury and five grandchildren. Three brothers, John of Wauwautosa, Wis., Frank of New Hamptonn, Ia. and Maurice of Sacramento, Calif., three sisters, Mrs. Mae Drewelow of Waterloo, Mrs. Catherine Schwickerath of New Hampton and Miss Ella Coleman of Los Angeles, Calif. also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The body is at the Ryan Funeral Home where funeral arrangements are pending.
