DEATHS

Mrs. Carl (Lulu) Switzer, 95, died at the Grayson Nursing Home in Des Moines on May 11. The Switzer family was a long time resident in Story City where they lived on their farm just south-east of town. Mrs. Switzer went to live with her daughter, Mildred, in Des Moines some years after the death of her husband. She had resided at the nursing home in Des Moines the past several years after the death of her daughter.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 14 in Des Moines with burial at Chapel Hill Gardens in Des Moines. Besides her husband, Carl Switzer, and the daughter, Mildred, (Mrs. August Lindahl) both of whom preceded her in death, a son, Ralph Switzer who lives in Texas survives, also several grandchildren and a number of relatives in this community.
