THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, April 17, 1969, page 1, column 2. "EVA RANDOL. - Eva Fern Randol, 75, passed away at the Story County Hospital early Tuesday morning, after a lingering illness. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Lanore (Don) Woolhether; one son, Gail of Camas, Washington and 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 18, at the Maxwell Presbyterian Church at 1:30 p. m., with DeWitt Stauffer officiating. Interment will be in the Peoria Cemetery." **Editorial note - spelling of names used is from the original newspaper article.

THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, April 24, 1969, page 1, column 4. "EVA RANDOL. - Mrs. Eva Randol of Maxwell, Iowa, passed away April 15, 1969, at the Story County Hospital, after a lengthy illness. She was born June 5, 1893, near Collins, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Jane Beach. She was a resident of this community most of her entire life. She was united in marriage to Vernon Randol in a double wedding with her only sister, Mabel on February 11, 1914. Survivors are her daughter, Jane Lenore Woolhether of Maxwell and Forest Gail of Camas, Washington. Other survivors include three grandchildren, Mark Donald Woolhether of Maxwell, Bruce Warren Randol of the Armed Forces at Ft. Ord, California, Christie Elaine Randol of Camas, also a niece, Mrs. Jean Hagen of Camas, Washington and other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Verne; both parents and her sister. Funeral services were conducted by the Cooper Funeral Home at the Presbyterian Church in Maxwell on April 19, 1969, with Rev. DeWitt Stauffer officiating. Organ preludes were by Mrs. Madeline Summitt. Flower tributes in charge of Wilma Pierce and Mildred McIntosh. Interment was at the Peoria Cemetery. Casket bearers were Dale Pyle, Alvin Tiffany, Glenn Longeor, Parke Ray, Harold Ballard and Lawrence Horn. Relatives attending the services from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bopp, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Miller, all of Cogswell, N. Dakota; Alton Randol of Oakes, N. Dakota; Otho Patterson of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Mr. and Mrs. Gail Randol and Christie of Camas, Washington." "CARD OF THANKS - The recent bereavement which has visited our home has brought us to a greater appreciation of our friends. Such kindness and neighborly thoughtfulness can never be forgotten. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Woolhether and Mark. Mr. and Mrs. Gail Randol and Christie. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Randol."
