Services Tuesday In Nevada For John H. Vader, 79

John H. Vader, who suffered a stroke at his home at 536 Fourth Street, Nevada, Saturday morning, died at 10:35 a.m. that morning at the Story County Hospital.

Vader, 79, was born in Jefferson June 29, 1886, the son of John W. and Cynthia Ann Vader. He had lived in Nevada the past 15 years and was a retired employee of the Dawson Elevator Company.

He was married to Miss Faye Erma Kisky June 29, 1911 in Des Moines.

Vader was a member of the Nevada EUB-Methodist Church, the Nevada Masonic Lodge 99, Eastern Star and White Shrine.

He is survived by his wife Faye, a daughter Mrs. R.M. Waterman of Laurens; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. R.W. Starr of Mountain Lake, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and one infant daughter.

Funeral services will be at the Nevada EUB-Methodist Church Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. M.C. Shupe officiating.

Graveside services will be at the Summit Hill Cemetery at Pocahontas, Ia. Tuesday afternoon at 2:45 p.m.

Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home until 9 a.m. Tuesday morning when the body will be taken to the church to await time of funeral services.
