Randall Holland, 72, Kelley Native Dies

Randall Holland, 72, died at the Story County Hospital in Nevada at 6 a.m. Thursday, March 3. He had been hospitalized for the past several months.

He was born Oct 22, 1893 at Kelley and was baptised and confirmed in the Bethany Lutheran Church in Kelley. He lived most of his life near Kelley, although had lived near Story City, Nevada and Des Moines.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Harry (Martha) Branning of Story City and one brother, Lewis Holland of Long Beach, Calif.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 5 at 1:30 p.m. at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home, Story City. The Rev. Reuben Aga of St. Petri Lutheran Church will officiate with burial in the Bethany Cemetery at Kelley.
