"LILLIAN PEARSON DIES ON SUNDAY AT COLLINS RETIREMENT HOME - Mrs. Lillian Pearson, 81, a life time resident of Story County and the Maxwell community, died on Sunday, March 3, at the Collins Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness. Services were held Wednesday, March 6, at 2 p.m., at the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell, with the Rev. J. E. McClellan officiating. Burial was in the Peoria Cemetery. Surviving are four sons: Dale and Eldon of Maxwell. Ross of Pontiac, Mich. And Robert of Omaha, Neb. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Junck of Ogden and Mrs. Hazel Shaver of Rochester, Mich.; 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Also surviving are two sisters Hazel and Nettie Stark of Maxwell. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jay in 1955."
