DEATHS

MRS. PEARL WHITE

Services for Mrs. Pearl J. White were held Wednesday, January 19, 1966 at 1 p.m. at the Brouhard Funeral Home in Zearing. Rev. Floyd Newbrough, pastor of the Colo Methodist Church officiating. Mrs. Mildred Brinkman played selections on the organ.

Pearl White, daughter of Barnett and Sarah Sarsfield Brouhard, was born at Colo, Iowa, May 25, 1884 and passed away at a rest home in Des Moines, January 16, 1966, at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 22 days.

She was united in marriage to Burd White, December 2, 1901 and to this union was born two children - Harold White and Mrs. Basil (Thlema) Keeney, both of Des Moines. Mrs. White passed away August 10, 1931.

She was a member of Isabelle Chapter 271 of the Eastern Star and the Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Her parents and 2 brothers, William Brouhard of Zearing and Earl Brouhard of Nevada, preceded her in death.

She is survived by children, Harold White and Mrs. Basil Keeney of Des Moines; one brother, John Brouhard of Colo; one grandson, Robert Keeney of Des Moines and 3 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. White had lived in Colo with her brother, John Brouhard, since 1937 with the exception of the last three years.

Interment was in the Glendale Masonic Cemetery in Des Moines.
