Obituary

NELLIE C. JACOBSON

Nellie C. Jacobson, daughter of Erick K. and Ellen Erickson, was born Nov. 12, 1888 near Roland, Ia. and passed away at the Story City Memorial Hospital on Oct. 29, 1977 at the age of 88.

She was baptized at the Bergen Lutheran Church in Roland and confirmed at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Story City. She was married to Lewie O. Jacobson July 15, 1908 at the Bethel Lutheran Church by Rev. G. O. Paulsrud.

She is survived by two daughters and one son: Mrs. Robert (Pearl) Erickson of Springfield, Ill.; Leslie K. Jacobson, Story City, Ia.; and Mrs. Laudie (Eunice) Kacalek of St. Paul, Minn.; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, six sisters and one brother.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Nov. 1, 1977 at 1:30 p.m. from St. Petri Lutheran Church. The Rev. Rolfe Johnstad and Perry Sampson were in charge.

Pallbearers were Dennis Jacobson, Todd Kacalek, Michael McCoy, Carl Scafferi, Paul Swanson, and Frederick Swanson. Burial was at the Story City Municipal Cemetery.
