THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, July 1, 1971, page 1, column 1. "BETTIE C. PAGELS. - Bettie Charolin** Pagels was born April 15, 1919 at Farrar, Iowa, to the late Frank Dunlap and Mrs. Gwen Lint. She passed away June 17, 1971, at the California Lutheran Hospital, after being ill 3 years. Survivors include one son, Robert Snell and a daughter, Mrs. Patty Beckman, both of Los Angeles and 3 grandchildren; also her mother, Mrs. Gwen Lint of Maxwell and two sisters, Mrs. Boni Quinly of Monterey Park, Calif., and Mrs. Kay White of Maxwell. Her Husband and one sister preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at the First Lutheran Church in Los Angeles, at 11 a.m., Monday, June 21. Dr. Paul Valentiner and Rev. Russell Fink conducted the services. Burial was in Forest Lawn, Holly Wood Hills."
