THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, 10 Jun 1909. "OZMUN - Zola Lucile, daughter of William A. and Clara B. Ozmun, was born April 16, 1907, and departed this life May 31, 1909, age two years, one month and fifteen days. She was the youngest of eight children, two boys and six girls, six of whom are still living, one girl having died when small. This, the second time sorrow entering this happy home, makes grief almost unbearable, for Zola was such an exceptionally bright, and lovable child. Just loaned to earth for so short a while to endear her to loved ones and friends then to be taken away so soon, breaking the heart chords of love causing them to ache with grief. While the home is broken into and hopes are blighted by her absence surely the Father had need of her to brighten His Heaven for He has said "Suffer the little children to come unto me - for of such is the kingdom of God." The funeral was conducted by Rev. T. F. Martin from the Peoria church Wednesday, June 2d, at 2:30 p. m. The Collins choir furnished the music, singing some very appropriate hymns. The remains were laid to rest in the Peoria cemetery. CARD OF THANKS - We desire to thank our friends for their valuable assistance in the sickness and death of our little daughter, Zola. - Mr. and Mrs. William Ozmun."
