AREA DEATHS

MRS. FLORENCE E. DANNENBERGER

Mrs. Florence E. Dannenberger, 68, of 206 No. First Ave., Marshalltown, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon at her home.

Born April 28, 1904 north of Nevada, she was married to Edward Dannenberger and they farmed in the Colo area. After the death of her husband in 1960, she made her home in Colo then moved to Marshalltown in 1964 where she has resided since.

She was employed at the Marshalltown Community Hospital East for several years.

Mrs. Dannenberger was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Colo.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, a sister and a brother.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Berdina) Granger of Colo and Mrs. Wanda Thompson of Forest Grove, Oregon. Also surviving are four grandchildren and four great grandchildren, a brother Ray I. Bryant of Marshalltown and two sisters, Mrs. Mildred McCoy of Davenport and Mrs. Orpha Wengert of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Services will be held from the First United Methodist Church in Colo at 1:30 p.m. Friday, with Rev. James Louk officiating. Burial will be in the Colo Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Estel-Perrin Funeral Home in Marshalltown Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
