Mrs. Ettie Oswald Dies at Hospital At Story C. Thurs.

Mrs. Ettie B. Oswald, 88, Story City, died at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Story City Memorial Hospital. She died on the same date on which she was admitted two years ago. Mrs. Oswald was born May 8, 1878 in Jasper County, the daughter of John and Mary Dunaway.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Grace E. U. B. Church with Rev. Paul Beckman in charge. Burial will be in the Center Cemetery southwest of Story City, near her former home.

Survivors are a son, John of Ames, two grandchildren and one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. Her husband Joseph Oswald preceded her in death November 12, 1959.

The body will be at the Soderstrum-Larson funeral home until noon Saturday.
