DEATHS

Vera R. Osborn

Funeral services for Mrs. Vera R. Osborn were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, in the United Methodist Church in Maxwell. Rev. Dale Ellsworth delivered the comforting message.

Miss Lori Eatwell presided at the organ. Noreen Hale and Mildred Kimberley were in charge of the flowers.

Pallbearers were George Kimberley, Les Dunshee, Leonard Jacobon, Lewis Strother, Harland Witmer, and Richard Farren. Interment was at the Peoria Cemetery.

Mrs. Osborn was born Jan. 31, 1905, the daughter of Louis and Jenny Kitchen. She died at the University Hospital in Iowa City on Jan. 2, 1973.

She married John Osborn in Des Moines on Feb. 14, 1933. They have farmed in the Maxwell community since that time. She was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church in Maxwell.

Surviving are her husband John, two brothers, Forest Kitchen of Nevada and Cecil Kitchen of Maxwell, three sisters, Mrs. Beulah Johnson of Nevada, Mrs. Mary Adams of Maxwell and Mrs. Alice Beard of Collins.

Her parents, one sister and one brother preceded her.
