Area Deaths

MRS CORA HUFF

Mrs. Cora Huff of Nevada, 84, died Wednesday morning at the Oak Park Manor Nursing Home where she had been of the past year and a half.

Born March 1-, 1888, in Story County, she was the daughter of Eugene and Jennie Barker. She had lived in Story County her entire lifetime.

Survivors include two sons, Glenn Huff of Artesia, Calif., and Harold Huff of Nevada, a daughter Mrs. Howard (Margaret) Handsaker of Huntington Beach, Calif., five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a brother Glen Barker of Hazelton, Iowa, and a sister Mrs. Alfred Hanson of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister, two children and her husband Wessy, who died in 1971.

Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
